The Dance Society, HKUSTSU aims to arouse students’ interest and broaden their knowledge of dancing. Society members can participate in dance workshops and interest courses arranged by the Society. They can get notifications of  Dance Team performances and enjoy discount when purchasing the performance tickets. Club members also have a chance to be recruited as a member of HKUST Dance Team and represent the University to perform internally on campus and externally in Joint University events and commercial performances. The major events include Joint University Mass Dance, Intra-Varsity Dance Competition, Annual Performance and Performance Day. Training would be provided to team members to further improve their dance techniques.  Many graduated members have become professional dancers, dance tutors or professional choreographers.
