USFHK Sports Competitions

The University joined the University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China (USFHK) as a member in 1991. Established in 1963, the Federation is a member of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC), the Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF) and the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The main objectives of the Federation are to encourage sports participation and cultivate sportsmanship. In achieving these aims, inter-collegiate competitions in 16 sports are organized each year for students. These include Athletics, Swimming, Badminton, Basketball, Cross-country, Soccer, Squash, Table-tennis, Tennis, Volleyball, Fencing, Woodball, Taekwondo, Karatedo, Handball and Rugby.
